AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION SWAP KITS FOR CAMARO, FIREBIRD |

Installing a Turbo-Hydro 350 or 400 in your ’82-’91 Camaro or Firebird has just been made easier with a new transmission swap kit from Hurst Performance. Designed to assist in replacing the stock automatic or manual transmission in V8 applications, these kits eliminate having to fabricate custom brackets and adapters, allowing for a relatively hassle-free, bolt-in installation.
Note: Though no additional fabrication is required to make the swap, the driveshaft must be shortened to accommodate the TH 400 transmission and a TH 400 front yoke must be used.
Each kit is complete with a new torque arm bracket, two transmission arms, cable brackets, spacers and related hardware. The TH 400 kit includes a new transmission crossmember assembly while the TH 350 kit utilizes the stock OEM crossmember.
