Hurst/Hemi Challenger unveiled at 2008 SEMA show |

Las Vegas, Nevada: Amidst much fanfare and surrounded by a sea of press/media, the new Series 4 serial number 001 Hurst/Hemi® Challenger was unveiled on Tuesday, November 4th at the B&M/Hurst/Mcleod booth # 22363 during the 2008 SEMA show. The unveiling drew cheers and applause as Nate Shelton, chairman of Hurst Performance Vehicles, pulled back the Coverking car covers to present a white and gold 2008 Dodge® Challenger SRT. This Series 4 Hurst/Hemi Challenger was equipped with a Vortech Supercharger with a custom Hurst tuned software, a K&N air filter, Magnaflow performance exhaust, Eibach suspension and Bilstein shocks, Katzkin designed Hurst leather interior with embroidered Hurst logo, Hurst 20” polished forged alloy wheels shod with BFG KDW high-performance summer tires, and a custom, modern interpretation of the classic Hurst “Pistol-Grip” shifter. Additional project partners include DC Performance, Woodhouse Auto Family Dodge, Acsco, Aria and Performance West Group for their assistance and guidance with this project. Long time, legendary Hurst spokesperson and celebrity Linda Vaughn was present to lend her glowing personality in support of this new classic icon.
